This SATURDAY…it’s kinda my birthday.
Not too make a BIG DEAL out of it, but JESS and I have decided to have a little get together on Saturday evening between 6-9PM, and I would love for all of you to be there. We will be having a little cake, the pool will be heated, and we may watch a movie. FRIENDLY NOTE: You do not have to bring ANYTHING! The GRANITE GAMES
JOIN ME and register for another great Opportunity to better your training! In many ways The Granite Games is JUST LIKE THE OPEN. It will be 3 workouts announced over 3 weeks that you will have to perform between announcement on Thursday at 5PM and Monday 3PM. Registration is $25. It will be your responsibility to make time to perform and score your workouts. You will have the opportunity perform these workouts instead of the regularly scheduled WAD, but the regularly scheduled WAD will take priority.
She’s got our back! This past Thursday, we had a personal meeting with councilwoman Michele Fiore. We wanted to see if she would support our dream of HQ3 on the property of Cimarron and Ann, and she said she will “do everything she can.” HOORAY!! Our next step is negotiating with land owner. Fingers crossed!
The WADBOD WAY excerpt of the week…DO NOT BE HABITUALLY LATE. Arrive on WADTIME (15 min. before any session). It is for your own good and respect for your other training partners. It is important that we assess what will be appropriate for you in the workout, as well as provide the time for you to set up your own equipment, so others are not setting up for you.
