JOHN JUADINES

In 2012, I had gained everything I could from fitness, or at least I thought. I was in the best “shape” of my life. This was also my rock bottom. I was in the ER fighting end stage kidney failure. It was then that I discovered the real approach we need in fitness. You can read more about my story in the Desert Companion magazine HERE.

ABILITY OVER VANITY is our mantra to ensure that we have a lifestyle of fitness. We are fed that fitness and exercise is solely a means to improve our appearance. We are fed that our objective at the gym is to solely lose weight, tone up, get shredded, etc. etc. These goals are not bad, but it is a flawed approach. These goals will INEVITABLY happen with training consistency. How do you establish consistency? You must know what being “in shape” provides you the ABILITY to do? Will being in shape give you the ability to be a more confident person? Will being in shape give you the ability to be a healthy role model for your children? Will being in shape give you the ability to more productive and energetic in your career? When you have clear focus on attaining your “ability goal” you will establish yourself a consistent lifestyle of fitness, which as a fortunate byproduct, will result in attaining a amazingly beautiful body. Consistency is the cornerstone of all success, and consistency comes from clearly knowing what training will provide you the ABILITY to become.

JASON JUADINES

Everything I’ve ever learned and endured in my lifetime, from nurturing and building young athletes, to helping and healing the lives of the sedentary as a Paramedic, has set me up for my life as a CrossFit coach. Those experiences created a foundation for me that could never be learned in a book. As the assistant coach at WADBOD, I now get to serve our great community and family in ways I’ve always dreamt of.

IJANA LOSS

It seems like most health and fitness out there is all about losing weight, getting ripped, and looking good naked. As a kid playing soccer and doing Taekwon-Do were all fun and games, but as an adult I thought that the way you approached fitness had to change. It was all about crash diets, counting calories, and exercising to burn those calories back off. But then I found WADBOD CrossFit, the first place I’d ever found where how you looked didn’t even matter, it was all about what you can do. Doing awesome things gives me the most amazing feeling, and my goal is to help everyone else achieve that feeling as well!
